Have a Blog?

As you likely know already, if you’re the sort of person who reads blogs in an RSS Reader anyway, Google Reader shut down earlier this summer. Reader is how I used to keep up with all of your blogs, and I have taken that tool for granted – only visiting blogs when I saw in Reader that something new had been posted. Theoretically, I made a seamless transition over to bloglovin’ and I should be getting all of your updates there, but I know I’m missing some. I’ve been so reliant on readers for so long that I’m not even positive which ones, but I keep seeing comments and facebook updates and such that make me think, “Hrm, haven’t heard from that blogger in awhile,” only to pop over and discover that they’ve posted plenty, I just didn’t realize it!

All that to say: If I used to visit your blog and never do anymore, it’s probably just because I can’t remember anything ever, unless it shows up in my Google Reader/Feedly/Bloglovin’ thing. Please, pretty please, comment on this post if you’ve been posting, but have not heard from me in awhile. If you read this blog and have a blog of your own, but have never introduced yourself here, please feel free to do that now, too. I’d be thrilled to meet you!

Oh, and if you use bloglovin’ too, but don’t already “follow” me there, you can totally do that here!

Hi Nicole! :) I have popped by your blog several times – love it! I’m sorry I haven’t been better with the comments, though. I just added you to my feeds, so I’ll remember to keep up!

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve been using Feedly since Reader shut down and I love it. It works almost exactly like Reader.

Thanks, Jennifer. I have feedly, and love it on my computer, but for some reason the app on my android is really buggy. Since I do two thirds or so of my blog reading on my phone, I had to find something else, and bloglovin’ has worked better. So glad you’re enjoying feedly, though!

Oh no! It’s a bummer to lose followers – hopefully most will follow you over :) The new site looks great!

Hi Melissa! I’ve enjoyed your site for the past year :)
I have a new blog, studyathomemama.blogspot.ca ; I’m a single mom working and studying full-time towards my phD in Psychologoy (abnormal and child), but I am committed to homeschooling (and, generally, living a life that I love and is of my own design/choosing), so this is my attempt to contribute to parents who might feel like homeschooling is not an option for them. The blog is definitely a work-in-progress, ha!

I think that you’ve checked out my blog- I’ve been bad about posting, anyways! But, I wanted to say thanks for recommending bloglovin’- the Reader demise has also disrupted my reading. I set up something with newsblur, but haven’t been checking. I think I’m going to set up a bloglovin’ account as that seems to be the go to choice! Also, I’ll be interested to see who posts here, so I might be able to check out some new blogs! http://www.asecurebase.blogspot.com

I haven’t given up on bloglovin’ but I prefer Feedly.

I also fell off of my posting schedule over the summer, hoping to get back into a better routine soon!
