What’s New: A Quickie
We’re coming up on our last day here on Guam, so I’m running around like a bit of a lunatic. That said, I’m going to do one more mamatography photos only update. Sadly, I missed a few days in the craziness, but I’m sure I’ll make up for it once the errands are through and we’re onto the more exciting and less bitter, more sweet part of all this. Next week I should be much more sane, as I’ll actually have a home, and I’m sure there will be plenty to report.
I’m not getting around and visiting all of your spaces as much as I usually like to, but you are in my thoughts, as always, and I hope I can catch up with you very soon!

Our last dinner in the "old house." Annabelle insisted on having a bowl with pasta for her wooden carabao, and wanted to feed both him and her duck.
I hope you’re all doing well! Please link up if you have an update of your own to share, with or without words, or just share away in the comments!

Thank you, Gauri! Excited to pop over and see your post, too :)
No explanations needed, you are being a trooper with all that is going on. Gorgeous photos. Now what is a caribou? The beach photo is blissful.
Thank you, Rach! I’ve been thinking of you and wondering how life back in the work force is going. Hope all is well!
The animal we refer to on Guam as a carabao is actually a species of water buffalo that originated in the Philippines. All over the island, there are life size statues of them painted in different ways and Annabelle loves to sit on them. Live ones are available for rides at all sorts of events, and a popular character on island is a man who can be seen along the “main road” every day walking his carabao with his dog on its back. Someone posted a video on youtube here, if you’d like to see one for yourself ;) http://youtu.be/FkSe9jtJdQo
